30 days without alcohol?

My dear god, my insomnia is worse than ever and my jetlag is still causing problems. I think it’s because I forgot to face the daylight yesterday hehe, I had a quick breakfast and then I sat the whole day e-mailing in my basement without any windows haha. So I guess my body’s internal clock is completely messed up hehe, and I’ve only had 4hours of sleep for the last 2 days but I’m still not sleepy hmmm..

Trying to force myself to catch as much daylight as I can today and hopefully I’ll be sleepy tonight so I’ll finally get some rest :P .

But the good thing about these sleepless nights is that you get time to think!

Last night I was thinking that maybe I should stop drinking for a while and focus on band work, exercise and healthy food instead. Well, I always eat healthy, but I think a healthy diet works better if it’s not mixed with loads of liquor on a daily basis :) .

As you all know I love to drink and I’m a responsible drunk and I function very well on alcohol too. Still, it’s probably wise to skip it for a while. For health reasons. Damn, I’m gonna be at least 100 years old. My chances for a long life increases the less poison I put in my body, I suppose.

I’ll try at least and you better support me on this one as it’s gonna be hard :)

Now I have to dig into piles of paper. I hate this. But I need to have it done before the next world tour starts :)

Luv ya!

At least you know what you’re doing (most of the time anyway) and when to stop. Especially if you want to get that old. So try milk, coffee, tea, juice, water and maybe non alcoholic cocktails. I have a feeling your body needs to recover from your vacation. As you can be stubborn as a mule at times I’m sure you can make it. And I volunteer to kick your arse should you need it *G*

As for insomnia I guess it will take some time to tackle the jet lag. Try hot milk and a few drops of valerian. It should at least slow your overactive brain down a bit so your body might be able to catch up with it and force it to sleep.

Anyway, it’s good to have you back though I enjoyed your pic spam a lot ;-)

Good morning Peter! :) Not cool to read about your sleeping problems again, that’s for sure. Hopefully tonight you will get the rest your organism needs. I haven’t slept well in the last 2 days myself and I know it causes a lot of thinking, sometimes it’s not a good thing when your mind is overloaded with thoughts! As for the alcohol, I always tell you this, you don’t need it! :) Or at least not regularly. I don’t drink at all so maybe that’s just me, I don’t know how it is when you drink, but you don’t need it on a regular basis. Leave it when you feel peaceful and relaxed maybe, I don’t know :) . Then it should taste better. Or after hard day, a glass of something stronger so you can sleep more tightly. I will always support you in sobriety, always! You are strong, you can make it. We believe in you :) . Hope you can survive the paper work today friend, hang in there and I hope to read the next update with “I slept long and well this time” ;) . Love ya too!

I’ll always support people who decide to stop drinking (or skip it for a while), because I know it takes a lot of willpower to do it. If you function very well on alcohol doesn’t mean your body works likewise, ahah :) You have my total support, you’ll surely feel better if you don’t drink for a while! :) Just focus on other things, I know you’re gonna making it. Good luck, I’m with you.

If you want something really bad, you’ll make it! And you’re Peter London, right? I believe you can do almost everything if you just want to do it :) and paper work, even if you don’t want to do it…

  11. Brandon Holtry says:

Good luck London! I know you can do it :)

Even though you are still jetlagged I would say that is a good thing because you did have so much fun on your vacation and you deserved all that fun and rest that you got. I know you are backed up probably and you got a lot of paper work but don’t over do it. Just do it at your pace and stay happy and safe out there :)
