Re: On Your Mind

Haha, there is this one girl who I have seen several times in the metro. She's got that kinda sleaze style and I have seen her at Sauna Open Air. And now guess what? She's living in the very same building as I, in the next apartment...

Re: On Your Mind

What's on my mind? Too many things, but listening to new Metallica live album (soundtrack to their movie) somehow calms me down a bit...

Re: On Your Mind

Not sure why but I always leave my tin of Copenhagen longcut in my shorts when they go into the wash and I just let it dry and still tastes good.

yep altho the problem lies more with the officials here than with those there (now who would have thought THAT! *sarcasm*) I'm staying enrolled here, (the whole "other school only "borrows" me" thing)
I think I have solved everything now, but paperwork seriously makes me need anger management.

Re: On Your Mind

yeah, I agree! I'll do my mandatory internship in two years or so in sweden also, same way of getting it paied, so I can practice to deal with them haha current/big_smile
and then I only need to do one more semseter graduating here and I'm ready to go, thats why I push my internship so far back, so my new swedish connections will still be fresh current/big_smile

altho I have to say, that if I have to chosse between a great job here or a medium one in swden I might stick around for a bit to collect work experience in agencies.

plans, plans, plans... and even ambitions for once current/big_smile

uhm... no. haha. What I mean is, I want to work in a great agency to make experiences, and I will chose those agencies I would work for by the work they do, what kind of projects they do etc. Doesn't have anything to do with payment or status or stuff like that... I actually think the german design scene is amazing, just don't want to live here.
But swden won't run, good work opportunities just might, and might have it easier to get such job here than in sweden (language etc).
I really really want to move to scndinavia, but I don't think I'll be happy there either if I have to work with stuff i don't like. I'll work with projects I love, and I will live in the place I love, and I will do whatever is necessary to get there, I don't do mediocore.
If the price I have to pay for that is only patience I'll consider myself lucky current/wink

Haha, was just teasing you. But i guess that its kinda easy to get that german is better in that way.
More people = more buisnesses = more commersial and art project = more chance for you to get work.

But get great enough and you´ll get a top spot in sweden right away current/wink

hehe, yeah I guess being more people does help, but I also think german mentality fits graphic design. There's a certain preference for things being structured, organised and perfectionistic that I personally can appreciate,  I think sweden is more playful and sponaneous and modest, which is great too, but I just like structure and perfect typography and stuff like that. It's not an accident that Bauhaus was formed in germany. I always feel like swedish design is perfect in capturing moods and setting moods, but lacks perfectionism technically.
