Re: bleaching hair

I think it depends a lot on your natural hair colour.
Bleaching will always weaken your hair cause it's quite an agressive treatment. I wouldn't ask a professional to do it, because they know how long the thing must stay on before you burn your hair completely and are left with no hair at all...  current/lol

Re: bleaching hair

buy some bleachingthing at your hairdresser.. and then have it in yer hair for like 40 minutes or something.. .then take it out, if it's not as blonde as you want it, then do the same thing again... don't leave it for too long in yer hair.. just take new bleachingthing instead and do it again

by the way, it's not too good for the hair you know..

Re: bleaching hair

If you have a darn brown reddish sort of colour,
it might take more than 1 time to get it a good blonde.

and it really KILLS your hair. im using soo much hair treatment now to fixx it after bleaching haha. it looked nice.. but my split endz fell out all the time.
one side of my hair was shorter because it was the same side i rested my head on the pillow at night hahahahaha.

AND RE-GROWTH!
re growth is gunna make you really angry if you bleaach your hair hahha.

mines black now. much easier to maintain.
and realy cool!

But blonde is really really good. but you really gotta have strong good coloured hair in the first place

If your hair turns yellow after the bleaching or it just don't turn out that blond u want it, you can use silverschampoo. I use it now and it actually helps taking away the yellow  current/smile

When we we are talking bout coloring hair, how much peroxide blond damage natural brown?

Alot. It always does damage alot, it already damages to lighten up blonde hair, thats how it is. I used to dye my hair with a colour that only lightened it up a little and it got damaged alot, then again it is very sensitive.
I think you can only get away with bleach if you are willing to invest alot of time into maintaining your hair, and if you really want to go blond don't go in one go.

Re: bleaching hair

When i dyed them fire red first time, i had to bleach all that part before... And gosh, looked so weird haha, i've never been blonde current/big_smile
But yeah, i can compare the "treated" part and the natural one... The dyed one is full of split heads current/neutral

Re: bleaching hair

As much as I love having blonde hair and having to bleach it was a pain in the ass.  It depends on your hair and it's tempting to go the cheap route and do it yourself but in the end I have no problems going to a salon and paying to have it done. There is a school salon I go to that does a fantastic job.  I've colored and bleached my hair far to much and have ruined it at times and having to cut it and regrow it out is no fun. if you end up doing yourself find a hair place that deals with bleaching and coloring and talk to them.  current/smile

Re: bleaching hair

When reading your about your hair problems, I feel really lucky about my hair. I only bleached my hair at a salon the first time I did it, when I bleached it from black to blonde. The black (dyed) side was always more healthy than the blonde (natural) side, and it even stayed healthy during the bleaching. Still, my hair (i'm bleaching all of it now) is really healthy, considering how I rape it all the time when teasing it.

i would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.
