Hey there! I'm closing this place down and the migration of data to a new, improved website has started already, so keep in mind that anything you post from now is gonna be wiped! Will be back shortly with news. Cheers //LONDON
I was cut off benefits at the end of february when they told me I should renew my request. Now, after two months without any income already, they declined the request... and the contract with my school is unterminateable, so I'm suddenly 2000+€ in debt, notwithcounting rent and stuff. It totally sucks.

I made a mistake yesterday and didn't count my (-) vote on California in. Now it's fixed.
Around the time of the TUR release, there were plans to do a Dave Lepard tribute album with studio recordings of the unused Lepard demos by the new line-up. Don't know if those plans are dismissed by now, but it'd be really and truly awesome if not.
I didn't mean that he is a bad singer or that his voice sounds bad. I meant that his vocal style is one-sided, so every song kinda sounds the same. His approach doesn't change. He hits the notes, but there's no depth. The best example imo is Falling Rain, which lyrical subject is very dark, but he sings it like just another party hit. Maybe Simon could Save Her, the song that is.
And I don't hold a grudge against Olli. Reckless Love isn't my cup of tea, but it's a fun thing.

Yeah, the TUR songs are cool, but his vocals seriously lack diversity and subsequently a lot of feeling gets lost. He might be a good entertainer onstage, but besides that it seems the only reason he got the TUR gig was that he looks like a chick. That cheesy happy-go-lucky stuff he's doing now seems to fit him much more and I think he's better off with it.
Yeah, but live albums got a different feel and athomsphere in return. And they are touring so much, there are plenty of opportunities to record one or another show. Didn't got my fingers on the live DVDs yet, but from what I read they aren't bad either.
In fact, I read in an interview that Martin wants to rerecord the TUR album with Simon, but they decided to focus on a live album before that might happen.
