Hey there! I'm closing this place down and the migration of data to a new, improved website has started already, so keep in mind that anything you post from now is gonna be wiped! Will be back shortly with news. Cheers //LONDON
I think Poison's 3 first albums (+ Crack a Smile) are a lot better than the 5 classic Crüe records. Yes, they have all great songs, but I think they have too many songs which just are there. Take an album like "Shout at the Devil". In my mind, the best songs there are fucking great, but there are too many songs that you can not compare to the rest. "Ten Seconds to Love", "Red Hot" and the title track are great, but the rest of the album is (in my ears) a bit boring. That's the case about all the classic Motley records (maybe except for Feelgood). Too many songs that are not too good, and therefore the whole picture gets destroyed. That is NOT the thing about the classic Poison Records. All the songs on the 3 first albums are in fact great songs.
Does anybody get my point?
Yup, thanx for the feedback. Yes, we know all this. I just wanna inform you that mr. Boner joined the band just a week before the recording, he had caught a cold right before the recording, and besides, you can't get too much out of a bag of pennies (these 3 songs costed about 6000 NOK to make, included mix and mastering).
And about his accent, I totally agree. Power metal fans are hard to convert . We will do a more proper recording sometime.
MCR and TH are now removed, and (no big surpsise) Metallica leads the poll, followed by AC/DC and Rammstein. Crashdïet even got one percent by now, so keep on voting, people!
Yup, then we have found a new singer. His name is Jack Boner, and he got a great voice. We have also recorded 3 brand new songs - "Slaves to the Groove", "Outside" and "Good Girls Go to Heaven (Bad Girls Rock 'n' Roll)", all of them written by our excellent guitarist Steve Peck who also plays piano and strings.
Musically we play 80's hard rock/glam with a little pop touch to it. But hey, just check out the songs yourself!
If you want to download them, they will appeare on this site soon: http://www11.nrk.no/urort/Artist/Compac ... fault.aspx
This songs will soon be released on a mini EP
PS: We like to get feedback!

Yeah, they and My Chemical Romance. Stupid emo people.
On the other hand, Crashdïet ain't big enough to headline in a stadium in Norway, so if they get a few houndred votes, they might be booked in anyway.
Yup, Crashdïet happends to be included in the band wish poll on the webpage for Trondheim Rock Festival next year. No artists are booked in for the regular festival yet, but last year Ozzy was the headliner.
Vote for the best Swedish band, even though you don't plan to attend. http://trondheimrockfestival.no/bandonsker.html
