Hey there! I'm closing this place down and the migration of data to a new, improved website has started already, so keep in mind that anything you post from now is gonna be wiped! Will be back shortly with news. Cheers //LONDON
After 2007's success festival, Kvinesdal Rock Festival is on its way to become Norway's Sweden Rock. And the line up so far for next year is:
Backstreet Girls (N)
The Quireboys (UK)
Hardcore Superstar (S)
Audrey Horne (N)
This is gonna be great! I hope Crashdïet will visit.
Yeah, I play in two bands, and the second one is called Pure Faen (with Jack Boner from Compact Dicks on guitars and vocals). Inspired by bands like Raga Rockers, Sex Pistols and Ramones, we play loud and fast, with great guitar solos in the songs and Norwegian lyrics about things that pisses us off (like jazz, idiots and sports). You can check out some raw material on www.myspace.com/purefaen , even though you may not understand the lyrics.
I think Poison's 3 first albums (+ Crack a Smile) are a lot better than the 5 classic Crüe records. Yes, they have all great songs, but I think they have too many songs which just are there. Take an album like "Shout at the Devil". In my mind, the best songs there are fucking great, but there are too many songs that you can not compare to the rest. "Ten Seconds to Love", "Red Hot" and the title track are great, but the rest of the album is (in my ears) a bit boring. That's the case about all the classic Motley records (maybe except for Feelgood). Too many songs that are not too good, and therefore the whole picture gets destroyed. That is NOT the thing about the classic Poison Records. All the songs on the 3 first albums are in fact great songs.
Does anybody get my point?
