Hey there! I'm closing this place down and the migration of data to a new, improved website has started already, so keep in mind that anything you post from now is gonna be wiped! Will be back shortly with news. Cheers //LONDON
Me and Mary were in Trondheim in the begining of February and did some promoting (in terrible insanely cold weather xD I'm always dressed for summer), and now I've put together a little video for those interested. Thought I might as well post it here, since it's the same Street Team (You guys did a wonderful job btw! Looking forward to meet you on saturday!) So.. enjoy
And oh, I was wondering if it was stupid to use the song in the background, but it's a private video and only people who press the link get's to see it, and I'll only post it here so.. Hope it's okay. If it's not - let me know and I'll mute the whole ting.
If anyone wants to be awesome, I would really like to be told how to change my avatar :p I've tried changing and saving for quite some time, and also first deleting the old one before adding the new one - but it always just pops back to the old one when I'm done.
I didn't find us awesome Norwegians on the list, so thought I might let you know: https://www.facebook.com/CrashdietNorway
It's the official Norwegian Street Team - reopened! Me and Sheila is running it and gonna make it kick ass
I'll be making noise in Oslo for sure! We should hang out Sheila and Rebel_Ray!
I've been a big meat-lover all my life and I've never really understood how anyone could survive without it. The only dinner I could think of without meat in it was pancakes and tomato soup.. :p But now I've actually dated a vegetarian for a while and that has truly opened my eyes! There is so much amazing stuff that can be made without meat - both delicious and cheap! So even though I can't say I don't eat meat anymore it's not a must in my diet any longer and I don't miss it when it's not on my plate. I love experimenting with foods and flavors so I'm very excited to explore more of the vegetarian-way (:
I've only ever seen KISS 1 time live, that was about the time of the KISS Alive III album (mid 90's?). WHilst it was a good show, these days i just don't fancy paying $200 for a shit seat at the back of the arena.
Wow, that's expencive! :S This was my first time seeing them and the show was on a festival, so it didn't really cost that much. I really wish I could go to the US and see THE TOUR (Mötley and KISS), but holy shit the tickets are expencive! And all that bullshit about different areas like "diamond area", "gold area" and so on, which is closest to the stage and cost a shitload. I miss when tickets were affordable and you had to arrive early to get a good spot in front of the stage. Luckily there are still some of that sort here in Norway

this year? thats not long ago either.
and no, it doesn't go away, but it changes.
you'll be fine eventually. all the best!!
Yes, it was this year. It's not long ago at all and it feels
like yesterday still. I hope you are right and that it will
at least ease someday. Thank you
It's good to hear something positive about the camp for a change! Everyone I've asked so far has been negative as hell
I see what you mean. For me it's mostly about Motley, since I haven't had the chance to see them yet. Night Ranger, Motorhead, Axel Rudi Pell, Twisted Sister, King Diamond, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Steel Panther is also bands I would love to see! So if the camp isn't doomed to be a failure I really want to go.
I guess the title say it all; Who's going to Sweden Rock this year?
I've never been there myself, but I've always wanted to go. A friend really wants me to come with her, but I've not decided yet. The thing that's holding me back right now is the fact that she plans for us to tent in the festival camp, and I'm not too excited about that. I might be lame, but I actually would like to get some rest when we're traveling far and gonna stay for so long - and most of all I want to be able to fix my hair etc. and look somewhat awesome and I really don't see how that can be done in a camp like that If we were to sleep in a hotel, a cabin, an appartment or something I would go for it in a second! But I've only found some hotels and they're all faaaaar away and expensive as hell, so my friend can't afford it. That suxx.
So my other question is; Does anyone here have experience with staying in the camp? And does anyone know if there might be an alternative?
Answers much appreciated!
Hi Martin! There has just been so much going on IRL that I just haven't found the energy for any forums at all. But now I'm glad to be back,
and so glad to see that at least someone remember me! ^^
leathurrebel423 : Can I ask where you live? My man is a biker so I know a lot about the war stuff. Damn, that shit is annoying, hah!
Good luck in finding the people for your band!
Yeah, you're right. It's confirmed 7 dead in the bomb in Oslo and 10 dead in the shooting on Utøya. Eye-witnesses say it must be about 30 people dead on Utøya though. They're still trying to find out there I guess. They're also concerned that it can be a bomb on Utøya also.
And yeah, I don't think our Prime Minister can say much else than how terrible it is. They want us to stay calm, but it's easier said than done..
